As we begin a new year, let’s clear out the ol’ notebook and see what gems there are from 2024.

As a way to end 2023, I cleared out my notebook of stories collected but not yet told. It’s not because the stories didn’t deserve their time to shine, it’s just that they hadn’t been fully sourced or mapped out. That happens often in the world of journalism — at least from my perspective — because so much is said and shared that it can be hard to get to it all.

So, let’s clear out the ol’ notebook and see what gems there are.
