It's wasn't pretty for Nebraska volleyball or football on Saturday, but that's hardly what matters. A win is a win for the Huskers.

“We’re going to find a way even in the ugly.”

Those were the words of Merritt Beason, the junior outside hitter who transferred to Nebraska from Florida last December. It wasn’t pretty — which Beason and freshman outside hitter Harper Murray reiterated over and over on Saturday — but it wasn’t about how it looked.

Nebraska won.
