Nebraska didn’t get the luxury of sitting with what went wrong in State College for long. The plane touched down early Sunday morning, the sun wasn’t even up yet and Matt Rhule’s players were back on the field a few hours later preparing for what’s next.

Iowa on Black Friday.

Matt Rhule’s message on Monday was clear that the Huskers’ page had turned the moment they stepped on the plane in State College.

“We have a lot of respect for the opponent, we know what it means to play them,” Rhule said. “But as much as anything else it’s us taking a step forward as a team and playing well for them.”

And that’s the story of this week. It’s Senior Day, it’s Iowa and it’s a chance to get things back on track one last time this season.
