Might need to wait at least until the first CFP rankings, and I'm guessing that will show us that the SEC has successfully built the case that it's just so hard in that league that it gets the benefit of the doubt. We're definitely getting a three-loss team in the field this year. The Big Ten has not made the same case as effectively, so it's trending toward three teams. Guessing the SEC will get four.
Is it too early to start celebrating the B1G and the SEC only getting three teams in the playoff each?
