What would be worse for this staff: going 2-2 for both the first 4 games and the last 4 games; or going 4-0 for the first 4 games and 0-4 for the last 4 games?
Excellent question. I don't think they could have another November to (mostly) forget, so I'm on the side of 2-2 x2. Now I'm trying to figure out least-damaging losses in that scenario. I think beating Cincinnati and losing to Akron would somehow be better than vice versa. In November, most combos work, but getting Penn State or Iowa might be necessary from that quartet unless they go 4-0 in October, which I'm not willing to bet they will (and that's probably the most likely 4-0 stretch on the schedule).
Any chance the Huskers could schedule State Tech Ag. & Mech.?
I’ll see, but the Agmechies can be dangerous if it advances the story.
I can't even imagine the fan base reaction to losing to Akron. 😱😳🤯The schadenfreude part of my personality wants to experience it though.
