Omaha Supernovas set for historic first match
The Omaha Supernovas will make history on Wednesday, Jan. 24, when the team faces the Atlanta Vibe to kick off the Pro Volleyball Federation league.
Love does all kinds of things, as Natalia Valentín-Anderson will tell you when asked about her journey to Omaha, Nebraska.
Valentín-Anderson met her husband, Colt Anderson, while both were student-athletes at Florida International University. Colt — a tight end for the Panthers — is originally from Omaha, where he attended Westside High School. Natalia, on the other hand, arrived at FIU from Puerto Rico, where she starred as a setter from 2007-10.
Natalia and Colt are now settled in Omaha, which wasn’t a tough sell because again, “love does all kinds of things.”
