The next two weeks are going to be a grind, but Matt Rhule’s leaning into it. He wants his team to do the same.

Nebraska’s bye week wasn’t quiet. Matt Rhule barely spent any of it in Lincoln—you know, aside from bowling—and the players got a chance to reset before the final weeks of the regular season. Now comes the stretch run: at Penn State under the lights, then a short week into Black Friday against Iowa.

It’s going to be a grind, but Rhule’s leaning into it. He wants his team to do the same.

After all, for Rhule, this week isn’t about his return to his alma mater. It’s about what Nebraska does with the leverage it’s finally built in November.
