Harper Murray’s story is still being written—and she’s owning every word

Merritt Beason and Harper Murray reunited over this weekend. The duo — alongside ESPN’s Elle Duncan and Roz Durant, National Women's Soccer League commissioner Jessica Berman, Atlanta Dream co-owner Renee Montgomery, Pitt volleyball star and AVCA national player of the year Olivia Babcock and GIST co-founder Jacie DeHoop — were part of a panel discussing women in sports in New Orleans. The event was made possible by Publicis Sports.
Publicis Sports, which is part of a larger entity known as Publicis Media, gathered its clients for a series of panels and discussions called the “Women’s Sports Connect.” And, as noted, that brought the two former Husker teammates together.
As of now, there isn't a video or a full recap of the event — beyond what Murray shared on TikTok, of course — but it is still an event worth noting. The reason why has everything to do with Murray.
