Football season is finally here. Well, sort of.

While kickoff is still more than five weeks away, the action begins later today as Nebraska becomes one of the first teams to step into the spotlight at Big Ten Media Days, held for the first time in Las Vegas. The three-day event at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino serves as the unofficial start to the conference calendar and the second year of the Big Ten’s coast-to-coast era.

This year’s edition promises to be different. There’s a new location, a new lineup of programs and a wave of new issues for coaches, players and the conference to address. While Nebraska will be one of the earliest teams to speak, the Huskers arrive with plenty to say and plenty of intrigue.

It would be rad if you subscribed, free or paid. We think both options are rad.

Of note: Nebraska will take the stage on Tuesday, July 22, at 2:30 p.m. CT, along with Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Ohio State and Rutgers.
