This may come across as deprecatory, but I think the high bar for the Huskers football team this year, assuming no acquisition of a proven QB after spring ball, is 7 wins. And I think 6 is a more likely win total. π€·π½ π½π
As I sit outside the last week of January in 70 degree weather and ponder the schedule, I also acknowledge that when we are 6-1 coming home from Indiana, and having locked up a bowl game, I will be thinking "we just broke through!". But, wow, look at the backend. UCLA is probably our best bet to get 7. I probably need to break out the weather witch gear now to make sure it's cold and sucky in that day. The butterfly effect takes some time.

No, that's completely fair. If I had to guess what their preseason win total will be from the books, it's probably 7.
