Nebraska football has gained another Raiola. Dayton Raiola, younger brother of starting quarterback Dylan Raiola and son of Husker legend Dominic Raiola, committed to Nebraska’s 2026 recruiting class on Sunday. 

While this commitment strengthens the family’s already deep roots in Lincoln, it also has its meaning for Nebraska under the direction of coach Matt Rhule. In fact, it’s not just about gaining a promising quarterback. The Huskers have secured a key player who can help shape the direction of their 2026 class and beyond.
