After wild week, new core of Nebraska football takes shape
Thoughts on the Huskers 2025 class, coaches leaving, staying and joining, and the transfer portal.
Maybe it’s just another thing we’ll need to adjust to in college football’s new and evolving era, but national signing day felt like about the fourth-most important thing happening in the sport on Wednesday. Moving the date up this year meant the annual extravaganza had to compete with playoff arguing, coaching changes and transfer announcements for attention.
The Huskers weren’t part of the playoff talk, of course, but they were a big part of the other conversations. Having heard from Matt Rhule yesterday, here’s an attempt to process everything that’s happened in a wild week.
