A new season is here for Nebraska softball
The No. 19 Huskers open their season on Thursday with a challenge against No. 6 Tennessee in the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Florida.

Nebraska will also face Southern Miss and Bethune-Cookman on Friday, and No. 13 Texas Tech on Saturday. The matchup with the Red Raiders will also provide a national audience for Nebraska, with MLB Network planning to televise the game.
The Huskers’ 2025 roster is young — there are only three seniors on the roster – but a number of key offseason transfers have helped with depth. Junior Jordy Bahl is back too after a torn ACL cost her the 2024 season.
